- Plain flour 2 Cups
- Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
- Salt 1 Teaspoon
- Caster sugar 1 Tablespoon
- Salted butter, melted 50 Milliliters
- Egg (50 g.) 2
- Fresh milk 200 Millilitres
- Dole Mandarin Oranges in Juice 1 Cup (4oz.)
- Pure Maple syrup and Mint leaf for garnishing
- Sift Flour and Baking powder twice then add salt and sugar, mix well.
- Add the butter and mix until being crumble.
- Add egg and mix well one at a time
- Add milk 50ml. each time and gently stir until smooth (may add another 50ml. if the batter still sticky)
- The batter texture should not be too sticky but a little fluid, rest in a refrigerator up to 3 hours.
- On a hot surface, brush over some butter
- Pour in, the batter all over
- Close the machine's lid, wait about 2-3 minutes until the lid open
- The lid can be easily open if the waffle is cooked.
- Garnish with the maple and Dole Mandarin oranges, some whipped cream and mint leaves will create more appertize.
